If you don't love yourself it will definitely be a challenge to love other people; you just can’t give what you don’t have.
I read a quote recently that encapsulated this idea of loving yourself. It said, "You can’t love others more than you love yourself."
Self-love is not easy, but it is important. Life is already hard, and people can already be cruel enough for you to keep on ignoring you. So start paying attention and caring for yourself as you do to and for others, and see the wonders it will bring into your life.
I need you to make a decision today to identify the root cause of those insecurities or experiences that impact you from valuing and loving yourself and make a conscious intentional decision to do the work on yourself until you begin to appreciate yourself and be that light God has called you to be.
