Letters from the Tribe

Real letters. Real answers.

A few of the letters Coach Luchi has received, shared anonymously with permission, because whatever you're carrying, someone else has carried it too.

Waiting

"Dear Coach Luchi, I've prayed for a husband for six years now, and some days I feel forgotten. How do you keep trusting when the answer keeps not coming?"

Coach Luchi replies

Feeling forgotten isn't a sign God has stopped working. It's often a sign He's doing something too deep to explain yet. Keep asking, but also keep building the life you'd want a husband to walk into. Waiting isn't wasted when it's building something in you.

Starting Over

"I left a job I hated to start my own business, and it's harder than I expected. Some days I want to quit. Did I make a mistake?"

Coach Luchi replies

Hard doesn't mean wrong. It means you're doing something that actually costs you something. Ask yourself if you're tired because the vision was wrong, or tired because building anything worth having is exhausting. Those are two very different problems.

Healing

"It's been two years since my divorce and I still don't feel like myself. Is something wrong with me for not being over it yet?"

Coach Luchi replies

Nothing is wrong with you. Two years is not a deadline God set. It's one you're putting on yourself. Grief and healing don't run on a calendar. Be patient with the parts of you still catching up to what happened.

Purpose

"I feel like everyone around me knows exactly what they're called to do, and I still have no idea. How do I find my purpose?"

Coach Luchi replies

Most people who look certain are just further along in the same searching you're doing. Purpose is rarely a lightning bolt. It's usually the thing you keep circling back to no matter how many times you try to walk away from it. What do you keep circling back to?

Have something you're carrying too?
