The beauty of life is when we can lift each other up as we go through the journey of life. Believing that God is faithful, He is true to His Word, and He will give us the strength to overcome!

It is hard to trust God when we do not understand his plan, when we cannot make sense of what God is calling us to do. Rather, we long to preserve the illusion that we are in charge of our life. We want God to work things out according to our plan, but that is not the way God works. God asks us to trust and obey Him.

LET’S TALK LOVE | SUBMIT TO ONE ANOTHER

To enjoy a fulfilling partnership you should be yielding yourself in an ordered relationship!

It is true that husbands ought to love their wives and wives ought to submit to their husbands. However, you cannot thoroughly fulfill this for each other if both partners do not have a mindset to submit to one another.

I call it the cycle of self-sacrifice! Speaking of Cycle, I want to Refer to Dr. Emerson Eggerichs…THE CRAZY CYCLE.

Basically The Crazy Cycle is summed up this way: WITHOUT LOVE, SHE REACTS WITHOUT RESPECT AND WITHOUT RESPECT, HE REACTS WITHOUT LOVE.

He says that the secret to building a happy relationship is to recognize when you are on the Crazy Cycle…Reduce the crazy moments by daring to do something loving or respectful! That action has the power to halt the negative cycle.

So when we talk about submitting one to another, I believe that we are to play our position, intentionally, relentlessly, sacrificially, and reverentially!

LET'S TALK LOVE: LOVE & RESPECT

Husbands love your wives and wives submit to your husbands! Men feel loved by their wife when they’re respected and women feel loved when they are cherished by their husband.

Love and respect are critical in relationships in general but even more important in a marriage setting. As any married couple eventually discovers, romantic feelings don’t exist every day. It takes effort to keep a marriage strong, to keep minor disagreements from becoming major ones, to favor sweet words and tender glances over harsh comments and contemptuous glares. A woman loved by her husband will grow in loveliness. A man respected by his wife will become more respectable.

Yes we are to love one another and submit to one another, serve one another but to have a successful relationship you must understand that the man is the head and the wife is the help-meet. When we apply this the right way not one-sidedly we will have a peaceful and happy home!
